FAQ’S

No, you do not need a referral to see me.  However, with a referral and Mental Health Care Plan from your doctor or psychiatrist, you are entitled to 10 rebatable sessions per calendar year.  With a referral and Eating Disorder Plan, you are entitled to 40 sessions per calendar year. 

Yes. Medicare will rebate you $137.05 per session with a valid referral and Mental Health Care Plan or Eating Disorder Plan. As at January 2024.

Some private health insurance policies include psychological counselling as extra cover. The amount rebated depends on the insurance policy, so contacting your insurer to discuss your options is advisable.

Session vary. Usually the initial consultation will take up to 2 hrs while follow up sessions are usually 1.5 hrs

Yes, Kayleigh uses Zoom to conduct confidential sessions online. Please choose Online Therapy Sessions in the booking form. Once you have booked Kayleigh will send you an email with Zoom meeting invite and instructions so you can be ready for your appointment.
